A man has shared a funny lifehack that he learned that enabled him to eat freshly cooked hotdogs – and it’s simpler than you’d think.
Andrew Ramsay shared the video on TikTok with his 375 followers, and soon it went viral and now it has been viewed 395,000 times.
He shared that someone else at the picnic had brought a flask full of boiling water, and soon they started pulling perfectly cooked hotdogs out of it.
It is unclear if the hotdogs were cooked and kept warm in the water, but with the average cooking time of the popular snack being around five minutes – it should be possible to cook them on the spot, if you have a good enough flask.
In the video, Andrew said: “Well guys, after 34 years I thought I’d seen it all but then Jill’s mum hits me with this lifehack at the picnic today.
“Hotdogs, you don’t need a bbq – just a flask with some hot water.”
The video was uploaded on Monday, July 19, and soon it went viral – receiving 13,000 likes and hundreds of comments.
One user, named Adcro, said: “That’s actually a seriously good idea!”
And Gayle Harris wrote: “No way, that’s the best hack – I’m definitely doing that.”
While a third viewer added: “Brilliant, so obvious yet no one thought about it.”
Video creator Andrew responded to a few of the comments, and to one he replied: “It’s so simple, I don’t know why I’d never thought of it before.”
Meanwhile, a property expert has revealed their best hack – how to keep your property cool, even during a heatwave.
With temperatures set to soar above 35C in parts of the UK, Brits will be doing everything in their power to stay cool.
While you might enjoy the sunshine from a nice cold swimming pool, it’s not quite the same walking into a hot house.
Unless you have air conditioning fitted in your home – which most Brits don’t – you’ll have to think of some other ways to keep it cool.
Thankfully, That Property Guy on TikTok is here to help.
In a video that has been viewed more than two million times, he says: “I don’t know about you but I’m starting to struggle with this heat, so here are some ways to keep your house cool.”
